Syracuse University

Senior Designer

Lead designer for large-scale print and digital campaigns aimed at national and international audiences, supporting admissions, advancement, and academic initiatives. Work included high-impact mailers, viewbooks, and out-of-home placements, as well as digital content and UX enhancements for university websites. Each piece was developed to align with Syracuse’s brand standards while delivering clear, compelling messaging across multiple platforms and audience segments.

Principal Image Campaign—

The Image Campaign is Syracuse University’s flagship brand campaign, employing wide-reaching tactics to drive position understanding across all of its audiences.

Brand research identified a unique differentiator based on attributes authentic to us: that Syracuse University offers the “best of all worlds.”
As a result, where other institutions may make students choose between one path or another, Syracuse University allows them to “explore every side” of their potential in one place. This diverse, multifaceted experience creates a foundation of world-ready well-roundedness that stays with them for life.

Accepted Students Celebration Packet —

In leaning in with our new principal image campaign, the accepted letter package needed an update. With our new overaarching direction we created a new look and feel for the celebration packet that was both amplified and also carried our new thematic throughout. I had the opportunity to art direct this limited edition poster illustration with one of our talented illustrators on the team, Chris Madden.  I was able to show him my vision through the use of our brand colors and show a campus scene, a stolen moment, in our brand illustration style.

Gaming and Esports Center Program Launch—

Syracuse University launched the nation’s first Esports Gaming major and program, that allows students to learn about technology and business as it pertains to the gaming industry.  With the admissions team, we wanted to celebrate this milestone and opening of the Schine Esports Gaming Center that was built for gaming competitions and broadcast.

Gaming & Esports Accepted Students Lootbox—

To build excitement and drive commitment among admitted students, we designed a limited-edition loot crate inspired by gaming culture. The package included a custom Syracuse-themed keycap keychain and controller thumb grips—small, tactile items that nod to the student’s future both as a gamer and a scholar. Designed to feel like a personal welcome from the program, the crate blended form and function while reinforcing Syracuse’s leadership in experiential learning and next-gen industries.
